Frank Rogers / CEO
Mr. Rogers attended Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. Upon leaving the University he founded and developed Rogers Stereo in 1976 and currently serves as the CEO. Mr. Rogers founded a telecommunications company, OmniCall, in 1996 and his business savvy and entrepreneurial leadership was tantamount to their success. Omnicall was purchased by Access One and then Talk America in 2000. He is an experienced marketing and financial planner with proven effectiveness in supervising operations and promoting services.
Frank's keen business senses with relation to personnel, finance, administration, sales, program creation and task direction will create a high level of leadership for Rogers Stereo. His business ethics, integrity and commitment to success generate a trifecta of professional assets required for customer service and satisfaction.
Frank is happily married to Sonya, his wife of 37 years.
He has one daughter and two grandchildren.
Michael Philyaw / President
Michael started out working in a music store and playing in a rock-n-roll band. His love for music and meeting new people brought him to Rogers Stereo.
He enjoys building relationships with our customers and employees. He has a knack for making everyone feel like family and special. His inspiration is our very own founder and CFO Frank Rogers. Frank has instilled an attitude of always being a leader and not a follower.
Mike has been married to a very wonderful woman for 23 years and he has a beautiful daughter. He loves his family dearly and will do anything for them.
His daughter has been in competitions since she was 2years old. Now she is cheering for her favorite team with very proud parents.
Sonya Rogers / Vice President
Sonya brings a high degree of diversified excellence to Rogers Stereo. Originally from Germany, she now calls South Carolina home. Sonya attended Tri-County Technical College to obtain her medical assistant's degree, but the emergence of superb office skills led her in a different career direction. She worked for two years for the State of South Carolina as an unemployment claims processor, and then left that position to assist her husband with the foundation of Rogers Stereo where she currently serves as Vice President. Sonya espouses all the qualities required of a successful business with full knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, sales and human resources.
Her great discernment allows her to excel as a people motivator - they want to be part of the "family." Sonya doesn't rest on the laurels of her contributions to the business world, but strongly supports giving back to both the community and the country. She has actively served on several Boards of Directors including Hope Worldwide and The South Eastern Children's Home, which are organizations dedicated to bringing hope to hurting children throughout the world through foster care and overseas adoptions.
Sonya is truly a wife of noble character to her husband of 37 years, Frank. Her accomplishments are many; but her favorite job is simply being Grandma.
