The Jensen JC7DM dash-mount monitor features a sizable 7" touchscreen LCD display with LED backlight, boasting a resolution of 1,152,000 for optimal visibility and navigation within your vehicle. This generous touchscreen maximizes your driving experience, providing easy management of navigation maps, music apps, phone calls, and more, particularly through Apple CarPlay for added convenience.

Complementing the 7" touchscreen, the JC7DM incorporates three touch keys along the monitor's left edge. These keys facilitate the operation of frequently used functions such as Power, Mute, Voice Activation, and Dimmer, illuminating in blue when the unit is powered on.

Equipped with a built-in speaker, the JC7DM enables playback of navigation voice prompts, music apps, and various audio content from Apple CarPlay. Its speaker system offers eight EQ presets to tailor the sound to your music genre and a customizable 16-Band EQ for precise audio adjustments.

Apart from its built-in speaker system, the dash-mount touchscreen also offers a 3.5mm analog output to direct sound to your car stereo, muting its speaker system when utilized. In the absence of an Aux input in your in-dash head unit, the JC7DM includes an FM transmitter to channel audio through your vehicle's speakers, automatically muting its built-in speaker system during usage.

Powering through your vehicle's 12V power port or cigarette lighter adapter, the JC7DM includes a 12V power adapter with a 39" cord terminated by a proprietary connector, also featuring a USB-A port for charging your Apple iPhone or Android smartphone while driving.

Mounting options for the JC7DM include an adjustable bracket allowing placement on the dash or windshield via a suction cup, enhancing usability and visibility by extending and angling the touchscreen monitor.

Apple CarPlay functionality, available in wired or wireless configurations, integrates your Apple iPhone seamlessly with the JC7DM. Enabling hands-free navigation, calling, messaging, and music control, CarPlay projects essential functions onto the touchscreen or responds to voice commands via Siri, promoting safer driving practices.

Utilizing Apple Maps or other compatible navigation apps, CarPlay mirrors directions, traffic updates, and estimated time of arrival. It facilitates hands-free calling with caller ID displayed on the touchscreen and utilizes the included microphone for your side of the conversation, transmitting the other party's voice through your car's speakers.

Messaging via Siri allows for safe text message handling while driving. Accessing your music library, including third-party music apps, and displaying artist/song/album information, CarPlay enhances your in-car entertainment.

Apple HomeKit integration via CarPlay extends control to compatible smart home devices, empowering you to operate various functions through Siri, directly from your vehicle.

Moreover, the JC7DM offers Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity for wireless phone calls and music streaming from paired devices. Supporting up to five paired Bluetooth devices, it enables hands-free communication and wireless audio streaming, pausing music during incoming/outgoing calls.

Additionally, the rear-panel USB-A 2.0 port allows USB MSC playback for music and audio files, supporting MP3 and FLAC formats, while also charging connected electronic devices when the unit is powered on.
